For anyone who has visited our dining room, you know that the largest piece of artwork that adorns our establishment
Artwork created in 1992 by local artist Sirju Seeharach Mohan
is a hand-painted mural next to the food line. For a little history, the original artist, Mr. Sirju Seeharack Mohan visited the other day and enlightened us that he painted this is 1992 and was stopping in to see if it was still there.
Blessings to all. While we understand the holidays can be very stressful for many of our most needy, we will be closed Christmas Day. If any of our site visitors know of local shelters, churches or other ministries serving meals on that day, please comment here.
Thank you for those who have called to volunteer but we are fully staffed through the holidays.
One of our wonderful local families donated their time and profits from a recent garage sale. Not only did they raise several hundred dollars on their own but employer contributions were also kicked in. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
We are closed on Thanksgiving in order to allow for others in the community to serve those in need. While volunteers are appreciated, please do not call requesting to help on that day. We will try to provide links to those who can use your help

The staff and volunteers are taking a much-needed mid summer break on Thursday, July 26th and Friday July 27th so the Soup Kitchen will be closed those days.
Next week, starting July 30th, will resume business as usual.
We are truly blessed with some wonderful people in our community. The Tannhauser family in Pompano Beach recently
hosted a garage sale to raise some much-needed funds for Our Father’s
House.
Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate with their enterprise but with what they were able to sell and with company-matching funds, it turned out to be a nice contribution.
We will not be open in observance of Independence Day and will reopen as usual on Thursday, the 5th.
